Once again, Paul takes center stage and Peter fades off into the sunset for the remainder of this book (brief appearance in chapter 15) What I love about Paul in this weeks text is that he never misses an opportunity to preach the gospel. Every city he comes to, the first thing he does is head for the cities synagogue, where an eager crowd awaits the reading of Scripture. Being a student of the celebrity rabbi Gamaleal, the Jewish leaders asked Paul to interpret the reading. He excelled in that opportunity given bring the gospel of Jesus to the crowd. God always grants us opportunities to speak to people about Christ throughout the week. Do you take advantage? Or do you clam up?
