Dear Ministry Partner

I read the Christian World Outreach post about the upcoming banquet on November 1, 2019 in a totally new light. The slogan for the banquet and for CWO is “Making a Difference One Life at a Time.” This slogan reminds me of what I wrote on my Facebook page a couple of years ago, “Let’s not wait for the time when we can have a massive influence on the whole world for Christ. Positive change never happens that way.” Making a difference one life at a time is the surest way to reach people for Christ and truly make a difference. The impact that the Lighthouse Bible Church team from Florida made at the Feminine Training Center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti is a clear illustration of this truth. This team was led by the President of CWO Greg Yoder, former missionary Karen Pasquriello and Pastor Ted Dudak. The team ministered to the ladies at the FTC by sharing their testimonies, teaching some useful crafts and loving them. Along with others, Yveline and Rosemonde were transitioned from the kingdom of darkness into the great light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They have joined The Church 0n the Rock located on the Tabarre Road in Haiti and they are growing in Christ. They are perfect illustrations of what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17: “…if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

A couple of days ago, I asked Pastor Elino Jean Baptiste to share with me one recent thing he noticed in the LaVictoire church. He explained that these days the voodoo cult is on the rise more than ever in that area. Even though this is true, the LaVictoire church is full to capacity every Sunday because people keep getting regularly converted to Christ. Pastor Elino explained that people from the surrounding areas are not coming as visitors but are actual members of the church. He considers this as being a great impact of the church ministries making a difference in the lives of people as is a real victory for the Lord.

Together in the service of God and of humans, Joel and Marie ST AMOUR
