Most people who wish to check out a new church find themselves wanting to know in advance what they might expect to find before coming in person. Prayerfully, we hope this page will help to answer some of those questions you may have. We have included several hyperlinks to direct you to a more comprehensive explanation. What can I expect?

As soon as you step inside our church, you will feel the warmth and joy of our community. Our members will greet you with smiles and kindness, and help you get acquainted with our church family. You will also have the opportunity to meet our Senior Pastor, Ted Dudak, who leads us with wisdom and grace. We are glad to have you with us and we hope you enjoy your visit. You don't have to worry about remembering everyone's names - we just want to get to know you better.

What Kind of Dress Code Do You Have?

Come as you are and feel most comfortable. We have men and woman that prefer to come dressed and others that come in jeans, shorts, and flip flops.

What Kind of Preaching can I Expect?

At Lighthouse Bible Church, our mission is to expound the Scriptures Verse by Verse and apply them to our lives. We avoid Topical preaching that can distort the meaning of the text by imposing our own ideas. We also practice the Verse by Verse approach in our Bible Studies, even when the study has a certain theme or focus.

 

What About Our Children or Grandchildren (if any)?

Lighthouse Kidz is a Biblically based, Christ-centered Bible study for our precious little children. Our children are led by Biblically sound and dedicated Christian women who teach the same book that is being preached by Pastor Ted, Verse by Verse. The teachers follow the example of our Pastor giving the truth to our children, Verse by Verse. They are receiving the Truth, and the Truth will set them free. What is your Goal?

At Lighthouse, our goal and desire is to glorify God in all that we do, and to exalt the name of Jesus Christ while serving others and building up the body of Christ. You will find us to be a body of believers whose strong desire is to learn the Word of God so that we may apply it to our lives as He would have us. "to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ," Ephesians 4:12 (ESV)

 

What Are Your Requirements to Join?

There are no requirements to join. Anyone who wants to learn or to know more about Christ’s teaching are welcomed. There are no ritualistic requirements; no walking the aisle or signing a card. Pastor Ted Dudak asks that you come join us for five  weeks to experience the true preaching and teaching of God’s most precious Word! “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32, ESV).

What About Missions?

Lighthouse Bible Church is working to reach the nations to share the gospel of Christ in BIG ways! Our Missions Team was formed August 7, 2016. Karen Pasquariello is our Missions Team Leader. Lighthouse has supported a missionary in Africa for several years and has also supported short term mission trips to Haiti for multiple missionaries. Our church supports the CWO (Christian World Outreach) helping to spread the Word to Burkina Fas, Haiti, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe.

For a small church, we have a mighty large reach!

What About Tithing?

Tithing is Biblical. However, we do not ask you to tithe if you are just visiting. Our members give generously, not only to the General and Building Funds, but to Our Missions Team.   Our Pastor never preaches about tithing unless it happens to be in the Verse by Verse teaching in the chapter he is preaching about.
