Satan Struck But Did Not Win!

Updated: May 10, 2023

Satan struck hard but Christ overcame. The Coronavirus pandemic did not close down our church service - not even one week. However, it did sadly affect our Sunday morning Adult Bible Study. With the summer here now, we could not possibly continue as so many go on vacation. I am not certain if we will continue the study in the Fall or not. However, I was speaking with someone the other day about that very study and he (had not been there for the study) was interested. We left off with a brief review of revelation just prior to studying chapter 12 (https://www.lighthousebible.net/post/a-brief-review-of-revelation-1-11).

Should we pick this study up in the Fall, the above hyperlink will take you to this particular review. We did cover a few more chapters, leaving off at chapter 15. Of course we would pickup with another brief review for a week or two.

However, I hope this already posted review would help those wishing to study the book called, “The revelation of Jesus Christ, . . . ” (Revelation 1:1, ESV)

While it appears as we look at what is happening in this world, which includes our country, one may believe that we are now in the end times. Yet, we are not. What? This is only the time that Jesus laid out in Matthew 24:1-14. He specifically tells us, “All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.” (Matthew 24:8, ESV)

He then tells us in verse 15 and following when the end time will begin (no - not the date and time), but . . . I had prepared a presentation about this period and will prepare a blog as a follow-up to this one.
