“Set us free.”

Behind every piece of sorrow, there’s that plea.

Really, we’re just blind

As God already gave us what we’re trying to find.

Do I really have to remind?

The world had us bound

The only way to avoid the tricks and traps is to be biblically sound.

“Set us free,” we cried and cried.

Jesus just responded, “what do you think I was doing when I was crucified?”

Even Satan went silent then, knowing he no longer has control of you.

Satan hates that you’re boundless and new.

You shouldn’t accept freedom but continue to live in fear

Especially when God is literally right here.

Just because you screw up don’t put yourself back in jail

Because freedom means you’re on God’s side and for you He already did prevail.

Being set free is three steps forward

Going back to being bound for something you miss is four steps back.

Why redo a tournament you won just to purposely lose?

That’s like intentionally wearing one size too small in shoes.

Satan’s after you but God has your back

Yet you strive to be under Satan again because then he’ll no longer to succeed need to attack.
