Our Missions Team was formed August 7, 2016.
Karen Pasquariello leads the rest of our mission team consisting of Chuck and Margie Marshall, Becky Carr, Laura Geremia and Rod Kasper. They each have a very strong desire to spread the "Good News."
Lighthouse has supported a missionary in Africa for over seven years now and has also supported short term mission trips to Haiti for multiple missionaries. We have committed financial resources from our Tithes and Offerings thanks to the generous support we continue to receive from our members.
But that is not all we have done. Recently we held a missions conference for the CWO where we had the opportunity to meet the Missionaries. It was a great time for all.
However, we do not stop there. In August of 2021 we were privileged to work alongside the First Haitian Baptist Church in Belleview· Twenty-nine members of our church went and had a great time of fellowship, while

Since our Missions Team began, we have added more support to various places. We strongly support the Christian World Outreach (CWO) program led by Greg Yoder, President. Through the CWO we reach out to places like Burkina Faso, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe in addition to our first love, Haiti. These countries are among the poorest in the world financially but are rich spiritually. It quickly reminded me of the letter to Smyrna where Christ tells them:“ I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich). . . " (Revelation 2:9, ESV)
As I mentioned above, we gladly provide financial aid and when possible again perhaps another mission trip to one of the countries they support. In the CWO’s latest newsletter, they write:
“As of May 15, 2023, we have raised
$58,760 of our $75,000 match.
We need to raise the remaining $16,240.”
Lighthouse Bible Church does financially support missions from our normal Tithes and Offerings. However, if you can help more for this important cause, please consider indicating your additional donation, of any amount to go to the Mission’s Fund. God Bless!
